This handcut, fused glass Christmas Decoration comes in the shape of a robin red breast, and has been created using a variety of different glass to generatea truly special piece - it is a special gift to hang on the Christmas Tree year after year! 

Each Robin comes with twisted jute for a natural feel and a mix of transparent red glass for the light to shine through, mixed coloured cream and brown glass for the under belly and hand cutaccents - for the back of the robin and the base.

What's more, wait, there's more? Yep, it comes readily gift boxed and so will make a great gift too.

Each piece has been individually hand cut, and fused, in a specialist kiln, for 21+  hours. During this process, the glass is fired to over 800°C, annealed (held) at nearly 500°C and then cooled slowly over several hours to maximize durability and strength - This firing process leaves a beautiful glossy finish on the glass - and marvelous bubbles that will keep you entranced.

Now, obviously, because we are talking about molten glass here, it has a mind of it's own & so no two pieces will ever be the same - this and the fact that they are handcut - means you are sure to receive pieces that are truly unique from one another.
